Reaching over unconsciously, searching for you. But all I feel is the cold empty space that was once the space you would lie. I open my eyes to my daily nightmare, as the painful truth settles in. Images of us in happier times come flooding back, Your gentle voice and loving caress that are no more, your passionate kiss that would leave me breathless, Your warm embrace that would melt away my worries and protect me from any harm. The rage and anger deep within, is becoming to much of a burden to bear, this monster inside, wishing to be released, is testing my patience and sanity, with its murderous whisphers in the corridors of my mind. If only I could quieten the voices long enough to regain control, but I feel I have lost this battle, as the shadow of deathly hopelessness closes in around me. I can see that the light has left me and I am to fend for myself. I see no way to win this war, I have fought for so long, but without the light I cannot go on. I surrender to the night. >>SJBF

The cold has settled it's deathly grasp on my body, I feel the warmth leave me as I lie motionless on this pedistal, my heart slows and my breath is shallow. I close my eyes prepared to accept my fate, I have done what i was sent here to do and now it is time to depart. A new start to an old journey, the dark soul has been exposed, the secret revealed. From underneath the flesh and pain, from behind the lies and tears. Here I am this is me, Welcome to my world of truth. Look at me, Do you see the child afraid of the storm or the woman who wants to dance in the rain? I've been there before, not wanting to feel anmore your hearts been broken in half mind still wondering in the past. Cold, dark thoughts of suicide "why don't I do it tonight?" do not fear it shall pass. Learn to love another day. A friendly visit, with a happy face. that leaves late, then stays a little longer, Music booming in the ears until I feel the beat in my chest, a whispered conversation in the dark.... Then the quick dash for warmth in the light, but it does not end here... Hands held, a hug, then passionate kiss, eyes meet in the dim light and the soul is exposed. A silent walk to the heavens above, once we reached our cloud, a little chit chat, then silence again as we listen to the sound of the world passing by in the chilly evening. My hand in yours, we pause and I feel your warmth as you draw close,my lips brush your cheek, you return the gesture. Your arms now around me, as we stare into the dark, has time stood still just for us? just for this moment? Every inch of my being is alert, ready to snap and pounce. Feeling every colour of passion.
